I go back to the office tomorrow after being working from home for the last few months. I fell down the stairs and tore some tissue in my knee. It's healing slowly but it's had a massive impact on my life, I can no longer walk around the shops or get the kids out and about.

I'm nervous. It'll be the first time I've been on the stairs since my fall.

@gabzi3la I broke my ankle in May 2020 slipping on stairs, I am still anxious about them, just remember to go the speed that makes you comfortable, no rush.

@Tarpeachy I'm sorry, that must have been terribly painful. I will. ❀️

@gabzi3la I hope today went as smoothly as possible. Knees are no fun to rehab. Thanks for the ❀️. I am a clumsy person but had never broken anything before, so I like to say I saved all the breaks for one slip. I actually almost cracked my kneecap on the same leg about 2 months before. I have a talent.

@Tarpeachy Thank you. It was interesting. I had to utilise the stairs more than I was expecting but everyone was so helpful and lovely. I have had to take some serious painkillers in the middle of it so we'll see how I feel when they wear off.

@gabzi3la second day is usually harder. How are you feeling?

@Tarpeachy I am really feeling it tonight, it's been a super long day with more walking than anticipated and that's really aggravated the muscles around my knee

@gabzi3la do you have a good brace? That saves me when my ankle has gotten irritated.

@gabzi3la dang, just saw this. I feel you on that. I am also of the thick legged tribe. I think is so dumb that they don't make that stuff more inclusive.
