Before we left, ND kiddo tried to download onto his switch and I told him no. I think he's still too young for it. But is he? I let him play -Man on the . How different is it? I've not paid attention to Fortnite at all but I know he's got friends at school who play it.

He wailed for a bit but he ultimately listened and I'm proud of him for that. We will work it out together.

@gabzi3la Depends. We made the 9 year old wait a couple years (her older cousin kept wanting her to download it)

It's...ok but there is a lot of trolling that occurs. She isn't allowed to chat.

Some of her friends are definitely NOT allowed on.

@gabzi3la I would suggest Splatoon 3 and plants vs zombies battle for neighborville

@hammam thanks for the tips! Can I get them on his Nintendo Switch? Or even the PS4? But his switch is his alone so that would be better.

@gabzi3la we had endless discussions about what was age appropriate - i was convinced that violent video games led to violent behaviour which my son disputed, so i asked hi, to research it and write a paper about it. he did so and convinced me that they didn't so he was playing things for much older folks. and guess what - he was right!
