Personal:

I'm up very early. Very sick cat. This looks like the end.πŸ’” Dazzle is very weak, and in obvious pain. She has been going down hill for over a year. She is 17 years old. And I have made the decision to let her go.

She came to me as a rescue.I needed a mouser. She was terrible at it. Soon after I got Riddle, who is the queen of mousers. They got along great. But Dazzle was the more affectionate.

An amazing cat. Rescued from a shelter in town. Moved to the forest with me. Horrible mouser. Even as a youngster spent most of her time indoors. We had a little routine, as I got into bed to read for the night. She would lie on my chest demanding 15 minuets of scratching, and rubbing. Then fall asleep nestled under my arm.
Every single night.

Tonight she won't be there.

Vet said – kidney failure, and a painless goodby.

Taking the rest of the day off social media.
