I’m calling Musk and Ramaswamy’s working group Two Dumb Fat Bastards (TDFB). It doesn’t roll off the tongue like “DOGE”—but it’s much more descriptive how stupid their plan is.
Neither knows how government works, what is inefficient nor has explained what criteria they will use.
In other words, they will be the deciders, truth be damned, and mass fire people for no reason other than they “think” the department is inefficient.
Musk has a history of firing people for no reason.

Don’t assume the Republicans won’t make it a position with real consequences.
@feloneouscat I doubt that Republican lawmakers really want to give a lot of their power away to Trump's billionaires du jour.
And Trump himself is likely to get tired of them, especially if they're in a position to draw a lot of attention away from him.
