“Trump, for his part, has repeatedly called the entire United States a ‘garbage can’ and attacked Democrats as ‘the enemy from within’ and even suggested that the military could be used against them.”
Does Trump say even ONE THING positive about our country?
We are all Americans and yet he only appeals to a minority of Americans (about 30% are hardcore Trump).
All I hear from him is how America is lousy. He didn’t know that Puerto Rico was part of the US.
1/2
Over $91 Billie was approved by Congress for Puerto Rico and yet he only RELEASED a little over 11 billion after hurricane Maria. The REST he made sure was tied up in red tape.
Because he thought it was a country.
"Puerto Rico got 91 Billion Dollars for the hurricane, more money than has ever been gotten for a hurricane before, & all their local politicians do is complain & ask for more money. The pols are grossly incompetent, spend the money foolishly or corruptly, & only take from USA...."
Here is the reality:
“We celebrate the $30 billion milestone because this translates into an unprecedented and comprehensive reconstruction for this and future generations. Through these funds, Puerto Rico will experience a resilient recovery, so essential in planning for future atmospheric events,” explained Federal Disaster Recovery Coordinator José G. Baquero.—April 16, 2023.
Trump spouts bullshit.
@feloneouscat
I've finally realized that no, they will not publish good news, apparently it's bad for business. Any positive news gets sent to the back or not published at all. I feel bad for all of them if he is elected.
He LOVES to say he was the BEST to Puerto Rico.
“To get to the $91 billion figure, a senior administration official told us Trump is including the total allocation for Puerto Rico — $41 billion — plus an estimated $50 billion in future FEMA costs ‘over the life of the disaster,’ which can stretch decades.“
So, surprise, he is CURRENTLY lying.
Also by the end of that year, Puerto Rico had only received 11.2 billion.
