We’ve been down that road. Doesn’t work. We put cops in the schools. They run away. We had a HUGE number of cops in Uvalde. Kids still died.
Republicans don’t get it. It’s the fucking guns. They want to protect guns, not kids.
This is like saying we will reduce the deaths by asbestos by ENCOURAGING the use of asbestos and talking about ways to avoid dying by asbestos (masks that that We The People People have to buy, don’t breathe, avoid it, etc).
The solution? A ban. A total an absolute ban.
There are solutions to school shootings. Republicans want to blame the victims, not solve the problem.
