“Supporters of the Supreme Court's order, including the states that filed the challenges, had argued that even partial implementation of the rules package would impose undue burdens on schools and infringe on states' rights. The 10 states are Louisiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, West Virginia, Mississippi, Montana, and Idaho.”
Huh. So human rights are undue burden?
I remember when they said the same thing about desegregation.

Here is the text:
“No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.”
There is nothing here that is objectionable. Adding trans doesn’t change anything.
Except that Republicans WANT discrimination. They WANT to treat people as lesser. They WANT to empower the states to treat Americans with like dirt.
Equal Rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It’s not pie.
I heard Tim Walz say something like that. Concise.
This is correct.
The “Right” wants to make equal rights a zero sum game: in order for others to have equal rights others must lose rights (I guess not having the “right” to discriminate?).
They are right wing, but not right.
I know we’ve been fighting for the ERA for 50 years. It is so close.
This is the true meaning of Republicanism: hate.
If you believe this is the Party of Lincoln you really need to look at what they believe. If you believe it is the “Law and Order” party, you need to understand their guy is a convicted criminal who is about to be sentenced.
The Republican Party is the criminal’s party.
