“The (Trump) campaign blamed ‘foreign sources hostile to the United States,’ citing a Microsoft report on Friday that Iranian hackers “sent a spear phishing email in June to a high-ranking official on a presidential campaign.”

LOL

“Attackers then disguise themselves as someone their victim trusts, usually a friend or colleague, and attempt to acquire sensitive information via email or instant messaging tools.”

They trusted an email.

Someone trusted an email or text. They sent them something (“help, I’m locked out of my computer, what’s the username and password?”)—basically something IT ALWAYS tells people not to answer.

What you tell your parents not to answer.

But they answered.

And that’s how they hacked their campaign.

By doing something you tell your parents to never do.

That’s how good the people around Don are at keeping secrets.

I bet Donald’s password is 123.

Addendum:

Spox: “On Friday, a new report from Microsoft found that Iranian hackers broke into the account of a ‘high ranking official’ on the U.S. presidential campaign in June 2024, which coincides with the close timing of President Trump’s selection of a vice presidential nominee.”

Because the Trump Team is SO BAD they can’t even do security right.

And Republicans think the head of their campaign should be President?

Harris is so tight lipped, Trump doesn’t even know her last name!
