During the debate one thing caught my eye:
Trump: “And what he has done to the black population is horrible, including the fact that for 10 years he called them super predators”
So the man who had a cognitive screening (and bragged about it 🙄) claims Biden called Blacks “super predators” for ten years.
From a fact-check in 2020: “Despite his repeated assertions, Trump’s claims lack evidence.”
Trump was showing mental decline in 2020. The person he was thinking about was Hillary Clinton
This has been a constant problem for Trump. He doesn’t make simple mistakes (like mistaking Sunday for Saturday), he mistakes Biden for Obama — yes this really happened:
“ Trump also referenced Obama when he clearly meant Biden, at a rally in Ottumwa, Iowa, on October 1, twice in a Fox News Radio interview on October 11 and three times during a September 15 speech before faith leaders in Washington.”
Now, I’m old, but there is no way I would mistake the two.
The question is not, “Should Biden be replaced” (if he is, the replacement won’t be on the ballot and guess what? Trump wins), the question is, “Do you want Trump, a man who has shown cognitive decline since 2020, to be President again?”
This isn’t a hypothetical.
This is really happening.
Exactly so.
Did the last three and a half years happen?
Yes. Yes they did.
Were they competent?
Yes. Yes they were.
Fewer unemployed people. Better pay. It is an employee market.
You know who hates that?
Employers.
Which is why Trump has promised some really stupid things. All will cause people to lose their jobs.
Business says nothing.

@feloneouscat These are my thoughts, too. Biden IS old and I would have preferred Kamala to him, but the Democrats should have had this conversation before the primaries, not now. Splitting the vote now pretty much guarantees a win for the Orange Criminal.
I would take a Biden w dementia over the Orange Criminal any day. At least Biden has good people on his cabinet and a competent VP who can step in.
