Information is collected, gathered, gleaned, deduced, extracted, analysed.
It is not "produced." That's because it's based on and derived from actual facts and can't be created out of nothing.
The only thing that's "produced" is misinformation and disinformation. Though from an AI point of view that's perhaps just as good as information. As long as people will buy it, right?
