Per the webcast, they're "working an issue" on the first stage, but the countdown is still proceeding. Just passed T-14 minutes.

When the first SpaceX product kills someone, watch it tank.

Musk is fond of underpaying workers.

@feloneouscat NASA has killed 17 astronauts over the years. They're still around.

I turned down a SpaceX job offer years ago because it was a lowball offer. Nobody forced me to take the job. No one is forcing all those SpaceX employees to work there. Most are out of college, there for the experience, and then they'll move on.

@WordsmithFL

Wow. NASA in 60 years vs SpaceX’s seven years.

SpaceX lowballs everyone.

This is not what you want for a high tech workforce.

@feloneouscat The Apollo 1 fire was less than six years after the NASA's first crewed flight. Your math is not holding up.

Four years.

However, events do not unfold proportionally — SpaceX will kill people because they do what Musk always does — underpay and overwork.

Hindsight is 20-20. However, what SpaceX hasn’t done yet is not a guarantee of what will happen in the future. Musk is a guarantee of that.
