Neighbor teen boy came over to my house, pissed off at his mom. I mean hot and angry.
We talked it out. Apparently he told her to shut up. And then she got mad and tried to punish him, by taking away a privilege. But he is kinda too old for to work.

So I used the "You only have a limited supply of shut up's to use at mom, and you had better save them." Line. He heard that. Then I went with "We all have some small superpowers, and we need to use them for good."

He calmed down.
