What book have you RE-read recently? #books
Me: Cordelia's Honor. I always find something new in it. This time around, I realized that the entire SF story in Barrayar is about the meaning of parenthood. Not what most people associate with science fiction. https://amzn.to/3gW2b94
For some reason I cannot STOP re-reading Stephen Kinzer's book about Sid Gottlieb "Poisoner In Chief." Highly recommended.
Koji Suzuki's Ringu.
@estherschindler David Eddings Elenium series which I hadnt read since I was a kid. It didnt really hold up as well as I remembered it.
@estherschindler
The Silmarillion. Couldn't remember when Galadhriel got married. Watching the fan-fic show "Rings of Power" had me struggling with the differences.
I’m currently starting to re-read Anthony Doerr’s “All the Light We Cannot See”.
The language in this book is beyond beautiful.
@estherschindler Cool! I’m rereading her Penric novellas!
@estherschindler There’s a new one!
@Boyceaz ...and it's great!
One reason I like that series is that just about everybody is a NICE PERSON.
@estherschindler Even The Bastard.
@estherschindler the latest book I re-read was Children of Dune. I know... total geek.
@woodge That just means we're friends!
@estherschindler Ishmael by Daniel Quinn
