The feeling when you get on your one-on-one meeting with your manager and the HR person is in the room.
(So yeah, now I am PUBLICLY looking for a new job.)
@damselfly59 Oh I've been through this before. I'd smelled the smoke for months.
I'm bummed, not broken up about it. And I'm already interviewing! I hope to have a new job by the time the severance money runs out.
It still sucks.

Good luck! If you feel comfortable sharing your resume, I'm sure lots of Cosonauts would like to help. 💜
@janallmac Y'all can take a look at https://www.linkedin.com/in/estherschindler/ if you want to snoop!
@estherschindler I wish you a speedy transition to a good new one.
@estherschindler Best of luck for something better (and quickly)!

If it makes you feel better when this happened to me I moved on and the manager was removed from the position within 3 months. Maybe because I responded in writing, more likely because of the mass exodus and a lawsuit. Not all HR are smart enough to negotiate stupid and legal.
The best news is it motivated me to move to a better place. Just don't linger in self doubt. Many many hugs. Feel free to dm if you feel low. 💜
