OK, question for Scottish folks...why does support for Independence seem to be crashing in Scotland?
Is it really support for independence, or is it a crash in support for the SNP as a party?

@gshevlin I wouldn't say it crashing

Polls I saw were roughly 50% for and 50% against with it going up and down between time over months

It's more SNP have lost support in actually delivering independence as well as support for their failures and the scandals SNP are facing with Nicola sturgeon husband being charged and investigation ongoing into fraud and embezzlement of funds that were for independence campaign

2yrs time its the Scottish election that will really tells us what's happening

@gshevlin I really think this general election is a warning shot to SNP

"Get yer hoose in order"

Its a msg telling them to get it together

That and a lot of Scots probably voted labour this general election to make sure labour actually won cause really was only way to make sure Tories got kicked out - folk didn't wanna risk voting SNP just in case - Scottish election in 2yrs will really tell us if SNP are finished or not not this general election

@ecksmc Based on what I have been reading, the SNP needs a complete clear-out of leadership.

@gshevlin they became complaisant

Then throw in all the failures that they always point and blame Westminster for when it is them themselves who have failed many areas education, NHS(As BMA Scotland has warned for years, recent report confirms the NHS in Scotland, and its workforce, is unable to meet the growing demand for health services. The service is not financially sustainable and NHS boards face a blackhole of over £500m by 2025-26) , drug policy(drug deaths) to name a few

Folk woke up
