@ecksmc i use 2 ad blockers, facebook container, facebook purity, & do not track... i don't have facebook on my phone or use it to log into anything. all my settings are friends only or only me.
@redenigma personally i block all Meta stuff using custom filters CTRL-D DNS service
use that for all my devices
when you use a delete website cookie extension- does it forget your frequently used web sites so you have to enter in the entire address each time you want to go to the site?
in the extension options go to List of Expressions there you can add websites to a white/grey list
more here about that
/nosanitize
https://github.com/Cookie-AutoDelete/Cookie-AutoDelete/wiki/Documentation#enter-expression
sites you want to delete after tab closed you don't add to any list it will just delete them
if you install it and then wanna add a site to any of they lists in future you can just open the site then tap the extension icon and add to white/grey list from there
this is great... i wasn't very successful when i tried this a couple of years ago... it DELETED EVERYTHING. i'm much older & wiser now... and i think i can deal with this point & click technology. Cheers!
Okay, now I understand... so if I don't put Amazon on the white/grey list, I have to enter it everytime... so I should put my frequent sites all on the white/grey list.
Got it... thanks for the assist.
yup mainly sites you wanna stay logged in to you only wanna add to they lists - some of your other extensions you'll need to add to they lists though for that goto manage extensions and tap "details" then copy the extension URL and add that to a list
also set the notifications via extension options to on
tapping the extension icon again and expanding it, by hovering over the text, you can see what's been deleted
