there are many services out there that do the same as lastpass and don't charge for cross platform syncing or multiple device usage
so doesn't tally up that lastpass think this move will mean users will start paying < yes some might > majority of free plan users will just switch service imo 😉

limiting users to one device type 🤷♂️ strange
@XSGeek many people just don't have the money to pay for some services online even basic services like a good password manager < it's a priority thing
sidenote:
"internet free" hasn't destroyed "many things" it's the "many things" doing the many sly-sleekit things behind our backs that has destroyed the "internet free" < now we all immediately start questioning any free thing
it's a trust thing
a lot of good free services out there that rely solely on donations
sad thing is a lot of free services try to be sly-sleekit about how they work and stay afloat
