So my tag team partner at work used another excuse and called in today let me paint the picture, He gets 8 days FMLA a month so he's protected but he just doesn't get paid for days off. In May he got all his vacation time back, 5 weeks! He's used them all up now already... There's nothing anybody can do about him missing time because his FMLA meanwhile it fucks me because he takes 8 days off in a row and right now we are in serious need of help as it is... Sorry just venting
@duglop Things like this take. Are of themselves but it takes time. He will have an additional emergency that will force him out of days. It just will. Knew a guy that milked the system, gets a real diagnosis (cancer) and no protected time.
@Lwang50 um, it's been like this for 2 years, You don't know this company that I work for it's the largest of its kind in the world
Let me add the biggest part of it - he's an active alcoholic - somehow he managed to get FMLA as a result - even he admits he abuses the system as it is...
