When the skipper from Gilligan's Island writes a love poem it goes like this:
The boy stood on the burning deck, his feet were full of blisters....
I really wish he would have finished that poem I wanted to hear it
@elbutterfield nah, was refering to a certain episode with Zsa Zsa Gabor when he & the professor both tried to win her over
@elbutterfield that was the poem he thought up for her....
@duglop Got it. Wow, that's really specific. The opening lines begged for a closing couplet, and I just went for it based on my memory of the show in general.
@duglop Ha ha! I love Gilligan’s Island!
I thought it was a real poem. I was only a teensy bit right. The writers took the first line of “Casabianca”. The rest is their own creation, I guess.
“Casabianca” is not funny at all.

@duglop
"He loves the girls he's stranded with, but they are like his sisters."
