I really did not realize this until about 5 minutes ago that JB pritzker is the richest politician in office right now... I like him but not sure how this makes me feel
Same feeling about Bloomberg. Like you have billions. And just as many NDAs, but also care about people and willingly fund the social programs you initiate. What is this crazy math problem?

@duglop I had some reservations when he first ran for office because of his family and personal wealth. He has stood strong for Illinois, took on Trumps idiots during Covid to get IL what it needed. He has continued to do a great job, one of the best Gov I can remember.
I also heard since Blogoyavitch got a pardon hes looking at politics again.
@Lucky188 oh I already know he's the best governor there is but I'm still not sure how I feel about that wealth
@duglop If it helps the majority of it was given him, inheritance and his part of the larger family wealth (Hyatt hotels)

I'm actually in her district - they don't often even have Democrats for that seat.
