@duglop nice to meet you, lifetime Trekkie, just introduced my teenaged kids to SNW and we're rewatching Lower Decks, raised them on TNG and Voyager. I loved seasons 1 and 2 of Picard. The writers lost the plot in season 3. Why, for the love of Mike, in all of this turmoil did we not call THE LITERAL BORG QUEEN WHO IS OUR FRIEND to help us? it was poorly written. Did not maintain continuity.

@CarmenSlamdiego share with me, what's your favorite episode :) and what was it that got you into Trek? For me, I was a kid and stumbeled on to it quite by accident - mom & dad would then forbid me to watch it... but always gave in - then along came TNG and they'd even let me stay up late to watch it and dad even would watch it with me...

@duglop I love that ☺️ I have so many favorite episodes. For TNG I loved the way that Darmok played with the meaning of language, but since I was like ten when TNG came out, I also have a soft spot for all things Wesley Crusher. Seven's character arc is probably my favorite of any character. The musical episode in SNW made us scream with laughter, as did the crossover episode with Lower Decks. DS9 fell in a weird part of my life where I wasn't watching TV so I don't have much connection to /1

@duglop it, though I'm aware of the characters and love the premise. I tried to watch Discovery and couldn't get into it; I have Enterprise on my list but haven't watched.

@CarmenSlamdiego Enterprise is a lot like TOS, TNG, DS9 & VOY all wrapped up in 1 - it has that same feel... I also struggled with DIS as well as Picard Season 1 - but I admit I wasn't/didn't pay close enough attention to the "dark" plots - Strange New Worlds is a little different and I don't care for Upper Decks at all but I will watch it 1 day and who knows... I sleep with TOS playing in the background quite often... There's nothing better than a good day to die
