Say or think what you will, but I wear masks at work for 2 reasons... 1 because I don't want what someone else might have nor do I wanna spread something to the next person & 2 since I work in coolers now they help keep me warmer...
On another note, I heard a number of people have contracted Covid at work the past few days...
@Christmas_Snow @duglop it totally makes sense! I've not gotten sick since Covid either and I enjoy it ,I hope I start seeing more masks at the hospital when I'm there!
@Tattoomonkey29 You mean they're not using them there already?! Geez, masks in my former doctors' office were being used since early October. And the sanitizing stations and masking up was mandatory in the hospital, no exceptions.
Since covid took hold in early 2020 here, i've only been sick twice--once with a sinus cold, and i had a "normal" cold too. I've had more issues with my hypothyroidism than colds!
@Christmas_Snow @Tattoomonkey29 @duglop masks are still being worn at our doctor's office and at the hospital her office is in. My husband and I still wear a mask when we go out in the public. Too many are still getting very sick.

@Blueway @Tattoomonkey29 @duglop The thing in my area is being called a "100 day cold". You get a regular cold, but there's a very bad cough that lingers with it and lasts--about 3 months. 👀 And my mother has been going around town with that and NOT masking. So it's maskers against disgustingly rude people who think others should *also* be sick for the holidays. 🙄
@Tattoomonkey29 @Christmas_Snow I never had a problem with a mask and I work in coolers now so like I said the other reason and probably the biggest reason in all honesty is it helps keep me a little bit warmer with it on
@duglop Yup, they work! Whenever i was on the bus this week i wore my own, and at the hospital earlier this week i was in a small room filled with masked people (hospital policy) who were coughing & hacking--and i'm perfectly fine. Always said i'd continue to wear them (covid or not) during cold season after i saw how healthy i stayed while wearing them the last few yrs. It just makes sense!
