I've tried to like Cyberpunk 2077, but it keeps doing crazy stuff that makes me hate it. For some reason, every time I boot it up, it loads a different part of the story I've already played.
That chick out in the desert you help get her stuff back? I've done that 4 times.
Hiding in the walls listening to that Japanese family drama? Did it 3 times.
And I've never started the game over. It's getting annoying.
@dr_zooks Haven't had those issues, but I just haven't been able to get into it either, after giving it many hours of trying.
And the upcoming update will change all the skill trees, and they recommend starting over. Um, yeah.
@kay_dub I hate saying this because I recognize all the hard work that was out into it, but it's Hella boring. Looks amazing, though.
I also hope this update balances the action better, every enemy soaked up most of my ammo and I died a lot.
@dr_zooks Yeah, I got tired of dying. Never seemed to be able to level up enough to not die a lot. And they removed the console from the PC, so no sanctioned cheats.
It is a beautiful game, and they put so much good work into all the complexity.
I might give it another go after the update, but early reports seemed like it'd be even harder. Maybe there'll be a super easy setting!
But, I've been enjoying Starfield. That'll keep me occupied for quite a while, I think it's more my speed.
