I tried the pharmacy, but they couldn't.
Dr. wouldn't without an appointment, but first was Thurs.
So, here I sit.

Some pharmacies do shots here, too, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to have the puncture looked at by a doc, just in case.
Got it checked, cleaned, redressed, the shot, some antibiotics, and a prescription for more.
Not even a bad wait in spite of the provincial government's unceasing attacks on healthcare for the last 3 years.
@dobradorshopateria Glad all turned out well. It is a 2 week to 1 month wait to see my primary care provider here in the states. And many months to see specialists. I suppose covid has contributed to the back log, but American medicine is itself a very sick institution.

Wow - that's a crazy waste of $$$! So sorry this happened. Getting immunizations at the local pharmacy is fairly new - like, probably within the last ten years or so. I assumed it was a nationwide deal, but maybe not. The pharmacist has access to the state immunizations database and can determine if you are due for a new one or not. I only learned of it when I called my doc to get the shot, and they told me to go to my pharmacy instead.
