We made it! Was as busy as Xmas I guess cuz it was closed yesterday. This city is getting to be so big.
On a good note stopped at super store in and out in five min.
We have supplies again!!

They decided they would now switch where all the fish and meats are displayed just to make it more fun. π
buggers
They rearranged the entire supermarket we shop at a month or so ago, seems like the produce and the meat are the only things that DIDN'T move.
It's still being a pain in the ass for me. They moved boxed popcorn into the same aisle with chips, fine, but WHERE DID THEY PUT THE CHIPS NOW?
First world problems, sigh.
I used to know where everything was. Now, I keep having to use the app to find stuff.
And actually a fair amount of "planning" of a sort goes into supermarkets, in terms of where they put things.
Suppliers will pay to have their products placed closer to eye level. And lots of the "end cap" stuff is there to get you to buy things you didn't plan to.
As Republicans like to deceptively point out, supermarket margins are razor thin.
What they ignore is that no one's complaining about being gouged by SUPERMARKETS. It's their SUPPLIERS doing the gouging, they're just passing along their OWN increased costs.
If you track things up high enough, there are ultimately about a half-dozen companies in the US that produce eggs for sales in supermarkets and such.
Supermarkets in the US have margins around 2% overall.
They design it to force people to go through the most aisles possible. You can't impulse buy things you don't see.
@tyghebright @mcfate @disk4mat
Exactly. They want you to meander.
@disk4mat
You. Are. A. Survivor.
