First Take:
1, 2, 3 and 4: We should have never attacked and taken down Biden. It was a HUGE mistake on our part.
1. America is a sexist country.
2. America is a racist country.
3. Christian nationalists and many everyday Christians would have had more trouble attacking a Catholic.
4. Biden is a sly old dog. We should have rallied, covered for him. Whatever we needed to do.
5. The economy isn't the top (non billionaire) earners, the stock market, the interest rate. It's food, roof, and cars.
6. We went too far, too fast on trans rights. I understand why, but even I am uncomfortable about the sports issue because it's a basic fairness problem. And we should have formed charities to pay for trans surgeries because while we feel it's a right, many people are uncomfortable with it and feel it's optional and they didn't want to pay for it.
@TrueBloodNet no such thing as "too far too fast" when it comes to other human beings' right to exist. it costs taxpayers exactly nothing to allow trans people to exist and receive gender-affirming healthcare. i will not throw marginalized people under the bus to placate bigots.
the sports issue is also a non-issue, they already check hormone levels and you have to be on HRT for at least a year to qualify. "separate but equal is inherently unequal."
@dietotaku That attitude is why we lost. It did not cost taxpayers nothing. They felt their money was paying for something with which they disagreed, & often did not even feel was scientifically real. We can feel as righteous about it as we want, this was a big part of why we lost. You only have to look at how many ads they ran about it to know it's true.
Again, this isn't an issue where I agree w the Right. It simply is an issue that cost us, & the trans community, too much in the election.
