In a strange paradox, his laziness is a strength. They insurance companies will change the rules but the same inadequate healthcare plans will remain in place. The market grew while he went around the world, good let’s keep that. If he can tighten the border? Do it, we cannot be a country that ignores its own laws. Just don’t color me surprised if the flow of illegals isn’t tied to payments to members of our own government from time to time.
@MidnightRider what good will it do for those plans to remain in place when i can no longer afford them? or when they're allowed to exclude my family for "pre-existing conditions"? fuck the market, it's not the economy, it's not people's livelihoods. we DON'T "ignore our own laws," but trump's version of "tightening the border" will mean literal concentration camps which will escalate to extermination. there is NO upside here.
@dietotaku The upside is acceptance and management of the temptation to “ fill in the blanks” of a future not yet here. Listen, I don’t have answers, but I know our approaches are important. I understand that everybody feels grief about this. I get it. The Democrats should’ve started this process a year and a half ago and opened the field up. Being proactive is something nobody will accuse the democrats of accurately.
