or?? cause he's not gonna unless someone makes him, because he and everyone else knows he didn't win but authoritarians don't let a little thing like losing an election stop them (coughTRUMP). so I would like to know what will happen if he doesn't release those records. we can't expect to defeat authoritarians by standing there saying "you really need to not be authoritarian 😠"
mayhaps that has something to do with the increasing disregard for the people FROM the media and government
@dietotaku I think the one thing I might agree a bit with Republicans on (I'm allowed to be bad, I'm Satan), it's that I don't think government _has_ served us, really cared what we thought. They only seem to listen to us so they know what to promise to pet us to the ballot box.
We've all been manipulated or brushed aside, or gotten half-assed, half-filled promises, and watched our lives get more precarious.
People have seen the government as something separate, not part of them, for years.
@dietotaku I am developing hope that people are finally getting wise, woke even, and remembering that there's more than three branches of government. We, the people, the citizens are the fourth. This is a _democratic_ republic, and I'd like to think we're going to keep it that way.
@AskTheDevil at this point that sentiment - that the government has failed the public - is more of a Democratic one than a Republican one, since the Republican platform is "bitch about the government while imposing ever more of it on the unprivileged classes."

haha sucks to be a Miracle Nikki player rn (they get goodies every time China medals while Love Nikki players get squat).
I did notice a huge difference between the US and Chinese teams - literally, our gymnasts are HUGE compared to China, because we're packing on muscle necessary for those explosive gold medal routines. China seemed to play it very safe, tightly controlled with no room for error but not very impressive either.
