it's almost like COVID STILL FUCKING EXISTS
(this is going to be another enraging corpo-conservative piece of hot garbage, I can already tell)
so now we're doing the "if I have to suffer, everyone has to suffer" work culture thing? if your employer has a flexible remote-work policy and your co-workers aren't in the office, then maybe they're WORKING REMOTELY? or, God forbid, actually sick and trying not to infect you? (frankly, all work that can be done remotely should be done remotely. it's better for the environment, work-life balance, productivity, just not office building landlords' profit margins.)
THE MISREPRESENTATION OF THIS PHOTO HOLY SHIT. they want you to think there's only 3 kids in a classroom during school hours? first of all, those are cafeteria tables. second, look at the light outside. it is barely past dawn. those are not the only kids who showed up for the day, those are the teachers' kids first in line for breakfast. fucking WOW.
or maybe those classmates spread the illness to their friend the day before and now the symptoms have incubated? y'all know you're contagious BEFORE you feel sick too, right? I mean if this "disengagement" theory was true then those students wouldn't bother to come back, especially if they're using remote learning to meet state education requirements.
if by that you mean fatigue with other voters, then yeah. this was the first year I didn't vote in the primaries because I genuinely had no reason to. there were no progressives on the ballot and even if there were, they wouldn't have won, and I just can't be fucked to waste time voting for yet another bland moderate who's going to lose to Ted Cruz. I've spent a quarter of a century voting to try and change this state and I'm tired of getting shot in the face for my efforts.
@dietotaku Two reasons many of my colleagues were 'forced' to return to work: Without workers, managers wouldn't have a job and upper management needs managers as buffers between them and the peons remote workers weren't at the 'beck and call' of managers and these managers didn't like that!
@dietotaku The Gangs Of Putin want to bring back concentration camps!!!!!
@ReneeVoiceBrand "gangs of Putin" oooh that's a good one!
@dietotaku Guns Over People / Groomers Of Pedophiles / Greedy Old Pricks / Goebbels Operational Platform / Greasy Oil Pits / Gangs Of Perverts /
@dietotaku fits in with their "Christian" values
@dietotaku If they're 'traditionalists' Uncle Tom Clarence would still be a slave and the women on the Court wouldn't be there because they wouldn't have the right to vote.
@dietotaku Evil never tires and neither can we. Had African-Americans 'tired' Barack Obama would never have been elected. Vote, Vote, Vote.
@dietotaku Try phoning in sick at a healthcare job. You'll learn something new about the doctors charged with keeping people healthy.
I work in healthcare, so I can confirm that it's a shitshow. High demand for attendance, even when sick. Super fast paced work, long hours, few breaks, and more.
But that said, they're not equal. Healthcare workers (who frankly deserve hazard pay) need to be in physical contact with those they serve in many cases. This is not the case with most industries, ESPECIALLY office workers. And apart from P.E., there really is no reason all kids can't do school from home. 🤷🏻♂️
@Heucuva8 @dietotaku Been there done that. I was NEVER treated worse than in private familycare medicine.
you means students across demographic groups and class sizes get sick?!?!?!?!?!??????
