this is the most important part of the tiktok legislation. idiots being idiots about a "silent depression" is a non-issue, the fact that China is censoring US conversations based on CCP values - including merely explaining the difference between capitalism and communism - cannot be allowed to stand. it was bad enough when celebrities were being made to apologize for calling Tibet a country, tiktok is a whole new level of indoctrination.
yeah well it angers my 9yo son when I take away his tablet but that doesn't mean it's a bad decision. tiktok is Twinkies for your brain, time to make America eat their fuckin vegetables.
