@mickcarty fun fact. Gerry Rafferty was still making about 250,00.00 a year just on royalties from the song Baker Street when he died in 2011. He also wrote the saxophone part on guitar and hired saxophonist Raphael Ravenscroft to play it on the record.

Ravenscroft claimed he wrote the sax solo, and the guitar demo was only released years later, disproving his claims.
Rafferty was a tormented soul who hated the fame his talent earned.
