It's early morning here in Western NC. The local schools are closed because they're expecting it to get really bad here. We've had serious flooding in the past 20 years.
Anyway, I couldn't sleep and my right leg was hurting. My wife took one look and said she thought it was cellulitis. Yay. So at 8 I'm headed for the local clinic. If it's open. And if I can get there in this downpour. We've already had the power flicker 3 times that we know of. It's a bad time to need medical care.
Cellulitis cannot be ignored. Please brave the weather.
@LnzyHou That's what my wife said. I've never had it before. Anyway, I'm at the clinic but they appear to be opening later. I'm trying to nail down if and when they'll open.
Get treated Dan
@LnzyHou I'm in the process of doing that. The local hospital has a clinic also. I've not been here in years but they've been very professional. Almost no waiting too because of the storm I suspect. I may come here going forward. It's calm and peaceful.
Good for you Dan. Hoping for good outcome.
@LnzyHou So far so good. I'm waiting on an ultrasound to check for a blood clot. Thank you for your care and concern. 😉
@LnzyHou Not a blood clot so we're back to thinking it's cellulitis. I guess I'm going home soon with an antibiotic.
@KarenSohne @LnzyHou They gave me a prescription for keflex and instructions on coming back if I'm not improving or get worse. I can't tell if it's working yet but I'm trying to keep it elevated. I'm definitely good for the duration of this storm. Thank you kindly for thinking of me. 👍
How wonderful 🩷
@danielbsmith @LnzyHou I'm so glad you got it taken care of, and have someone there to take care of you ( and possibly nag you into elevating that leg)
@KarenSohne @LnzyHou My wife has also been very attentive. I love her so much. ❤️
