My theory is that eventually, 1 cubic centimeter of olive oil will cost 1 trillion dollars.

I stopped buying olive oil when I read the Consumer Reports (?) study showing most of it wasn't as advertised (not "Extra Virgin") or even olive.
Avocado oil and Grapeseed oil are my jam.
@danalan @TrueBloodNet We use mostly cheap vegetable or canola oil for most frying, but avocado oil when we're making something nice.
Most olive oil I've gotten from the store in the last couple years hasn't smelled like olive oil at all.
