Somewhere, in our house, is apparently an old wifi node, broadcasting a wireless network.

I cannot find the damn thing.

It's plugged in, broadcasting a network I set up, and I cannot find it to turn it off. We've checked every power outlet we can find.

Anyone have any hints on how to find one of the bastards?

@nonayadambidnes It is telling me what I already knew. There is a spurious wifi pod somewhere in my house running on the same frequency, at near the same strength, as the actual one we're using.

I can't tell whether I am close or far away from it. I can tell that it's basically as strong as the good signal, so both networks are acting cruddy.

@danalan @nonayadambidnes Yes! πŸ˜†

I've been trying to sleuth out what I could possibly have been thinking at the time.

They say you should know yourself, and you'd think I would by now, but somehow, I cannot solve the mystery of where did I put a whole device?
