I played bassoon in high school and college, and I was expected to know this as an audition piece. I never played it nearly this well, and I never had the apparatus to play it standing. I'm blown away.

I have tremendous respect for bassoonists. Essential instrument for orchestra, and getting the correct sounds out of one is truly an art.
