So, when Biden started the college loan forgiveness program everyone was encouraged to move their loans to the government - to the point we got emails saying we should take advantage of this one time offer. At the time, my loans were such that the lenders could not touch my SS. But I took advantage of the program and moved them over.

Now I've been informed I've been moved to another program and am in temporary forbearance that will end. This feels like a bait and switch situation. I may not be able to make ends meet with this change. Previously, I'd been told I'd have no payment till next Dec under any circumstances.
Really, if you're gonna lure people into making a big change, you should inform them that there might be risk associated with it. It was painted as a risk free consolidating. Sighs.
The Democrats are owned by the banks - and unless you have at least $250,000 in their bank, the banks don't give one shit about you.
I'm sorry that you're getting screwed by them, truly.
