Yes, the Orange Man will promise everything to everyone... because promises don't count in his totally void of all ethics world.
On the plus side... all Indian woman already have his personal promise that they will FINALLY BE HEALTHY, HOPEFUL, SAFE, AND SECURE. THEIR LIVES WILL BE HAPPY, BEAUTIFUL, AND GREAT AGAIN.

He has no good intentions toward the tribes, just hoping to siphon off a few votes (don't forget some Rs see the Dine as costing them Arizona in 2020).

It would be nice if Ms. Harris and Mr. Walz would come out for native american rights, too, but why would anyone believe anyone from either major US political party cares for real about native american rights?
I've been watching politicians remember native americans still exist every dozen years or so in some close election or other, but not for long after.
Write Leonard Peltier in prison, and ask him which party helped him out.

Feels like I recall some fights over pipelines and similar over the past few decades, where somehow it's both D's and R's on the side of arresting protesters, and it's native folks on the side getting arrested. I see who is getting their heads knocked in, in those fights, and whose sitting in offices with lobbyists.

@damselfly59 @Museek It's people from both parties been voting for years not to recognize treaties, not to recompense people according either to signed agreements nor to common decency.
I sure hope nobody votes for the big liar, Trump, but what's Harris gonna do for native folks? Is she gonna back up reparations, honoring agreements, payouts, getting real schools in? How many native kids are _still_ going to religious schools that tell them their cultural practices are satanic?
@damselfly59 @Museek I feel like if I were a native person, I'd feel kind of pandered to by _either_ of the parties if they asked for my vote at this point. I wouldn't trust either of them.
But I'm not. I'm sitting here on my little cushion of white privilege, in borrowed skin, trying to report what I think that grift looks like from this side.
I think there's some people who will promise you anything in an election year. Look how they act otherwise. Trump's always horrible.
