Rump, two point zero.
My shock, anger, and grief, are turning into resolve, steadfastness, and action. Talk is cheap. Noting the latest outrage, I need not dwell on it.
When faced with a storm, things become more immediate, more local, and more like triage than grand plan. Where in the body politic is the arterial bleed, where do I apply pressure.
Take a moment to look around. Find one small local need, and work to fill that need. Retreat, rest, then repeat.

Social Security’s cola will increase by 2.5% next year. Today, I pledge this increase in personal funds to nurturing actions that will blossom into thriving endeavors.
