Today is prep day.
(Ya, know getting food prepped, and other stuff I might not want to do for a few days.)
For cataract surgery Thursday morning.
I will have both eyes done, standard lenses.
Then 3 weeks till I get new glasses.
So I am going to have to cut way done on screen time.
I am so looking forward to this. I waited too long.
If I disappear from here it is just me resting my new eyes.
Congratulations on the coming clarity!
I have a friend who is planning to get them done too, and has been fretting over the lens choice.
Are "standard" lenses for near, or far, or in between?
"In-between"
There are a few Lens choices.
Standard is much, much cheaper.
If you wear glasses now you will have to after.
Any of the expensive lenses will NOT completely fix your eyesight. They will help. But not fix. If you are older. I would stick with the standard, and fix eyesight with glasses.
Thank you! I will pass this info along, as well as what I found.
Note, they will try hard to upsell you on fancy lenses because they make a lot of money.
Tell your friend to be aware of this.
@corlin
You triggered awareness of some interesting options though, so thanks for sharing :)
