Republicans call Reagan a hero to this day. He was, in reality, a man with dementia who single-handedly ruined the American middle class with his trickle down economics.

The day Reagan won the presidential election, my dad, (then an old man), got up from his chair, walked over to the TV, picked it up, and threw it out a window. Never watched TV ever again. My dad had predicted all the evil Reagan would do.
