I was an early adopter, and beta tester. And this company is worth supporting. They have not sold out. Great customer service, and yes they are small, lean, but genuinely good people.
@corlin it is deffo one of they companies where loyal folk will buy - and now seems they'll allow updates to OS so you won't need to purchase newer devices which might land more customers and maybe why its a little expensive for what it does
definitely a neat device
They have had OS and Firmware updates for a long time. Over either WiFi, or slowly over the cell connection. Plus you can easily add or take away features.
Like I don't use the podcast feature, nor directions. But I do use voice notes, and music.
@corlin been a while since I investigated the light phone. Seems a bit shocking that the preorder is listed at $400 as 50% off. I love the minimalist approach, feels like the price point is drifting in the wrong direction.
@corlin neat
bit pricey though, i just got a pixel for 100 quid cheaper than that, but i like it has 5g and hotspot function with nfc chip
personally I'm midrange prices guy 300 quid is a max i can justify
