Thanks to all that are paying some little attention to my posts.
The weekend guests have all arrived. And both the grill, and the smoker are in use. Wheelchair ramp installed and works great. The old Navy chief now using it, is irascible, barking orders, and smiling. So that's good. Others are deep into story telling, and service rivalry. My neighbors, retired Army nurse and Air Force logistics officer stopped by to say hi.
We got all the services represented, except the coasties.
On a side note.
One of my guests has a daughter now working in some three letter agency in Maryland or nearby. And she just got a big promotion. He won't stop talking about her. Apparently, this promotion will allow her to come home more often. And by the way, those that do this work are just as worthy of your praise, as the uniformed troops. The tip of the spear is useless unless you know where it's going.
