When I took the first whiff of the Wolcott, I'm not gonna lie: I was skurred. Deffo had the scent of rubbing alcohol. "What did I get myself into?" But after two sips, I took another sniff. Ah, yes, now I can detect all those complex notes.

I was taught to let a glass of good whiskey breathe for a few minutes. Then add a drop or two of water. Then sniff. The highest volatiles evaporate quickly, leaving the true notes till a bit later.
