Nov. 30 is Native Women’s Equal Pay Day, a day taken to highlight and recognize the massive wage gap Native women face. Here’s how you can help change it for the better.
Fifty-one cents per dollar.
That is the average a Native woman makes for every dollar paid to a White man.
At that rate, the wage gap results in $2,400 a month and more than $28,000 a year working Native women lose.
