Lurking here on CoSo is a wonderful thing. If you are one who seldom posts, but enjoys reading, you are wanted and welcome. Posting in not required. You don't need to explain, nor in anyway feel less than, for lurking. In fact let's get rid of that word, and just say you are a reader.
All writers need readers. Reading is semi-miraculous act. And respect is due.

Not anyone else's.
It is more than acknowledgment that you have read the post.

@corlin True, but I think this site can only be improved by having more threads with people in dialog. The one shortcoming I see so far is that a lot of posts just get dropped here and vanish, and you only see them if you’re lucky enough to be watching the firehose when they get posted.
