I Was Homeschooled Until College: Here’s What To Expect.
By Mordechai Levy-Eichel

talk to your kids about what they want, and what works for them. Many educational systems fall into disrepute because of how poor they are at soliciting, engaging and stimulating student interest. After all, how many of them get to choose the books they read, or what science they pursue? Ask your kids what interests them, and be sure to do so repeatedly.

Altho I went to public schools, My sisters and I, never learned much there.
We were actively homeschooled. School was a place holder primarily for socialization. Both my parents would have loved this advice. Yet we all figured it out on our own..... through much trial and mistakes.

Yep. I went to regular school. Learned a bucket ton of facts. Can regurgitate them like a champ. Short-term memory retention like you wouldn't believe = great exam taker.

Creative thinking...hmm... out of the box approach to things...hmm... not so much. 🤷 Have had to work on that over the years.

Didn't want the same for my kids.
