Code's eclectic music pick of the day is:

In 1990, this album was released in a genre that I might normally ignore (country rock/Americana). But the fact that the group was formed by Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits) made me curious. I'm glad I was, because this album remains, to this day, one of my favorites. The gorgeous engineering on this album (think Alan Parsons/Steely Dan) makes it shine. Here is Your Own Sweet Way by the Notting Hillbillies.

@codeWhisperer It took a bit to find a copy but I bought it. I prefer HiRes downloads but couldn't find that, even on Knopfler's site.

One of my favorites back in the day was Knopfler and Chet Atkins collaboration. Also Atkins album C.G.P. - consumate guitar player. Here he is with Knopfler:

Another great pick Code! It was hard to decide where to place it on my playlists. Great Guitar Solos or The Blues? Decided that the guitar was wicked enough and bluesy enough to be on "The Blues"! You're right, normally from the description, I would have give this project a hard pass. 🤷‍♀️
