Until they're asked to.pay a monthly fee. If verified accounts are being asked $20 a month, it's just a matter of time before the little people are asked to pay, too.
And, it's much different that paying $5 a month to Coso, which is not required. Here we know exactly where the money goes, which is why I also donate money whenever I can. Elon is a business man, he will always look for ways to make money off his purchases. Bird is no exception.
