I just had to turn down a get together with several old friends because a radical right-wing acquaintance got invited. I explained I don't want to create a pick-a-side atmosphere, but I just can't be around the guy. I know the things he says when I'm not around and I will not give social legitimacy to fascist. I can't even imagine trying to keep a meal down seeing him there. Screw that.

I think you made a good decision. No need to let that poison in your life. I have also begun to shun the MAGATS in my life. I will NOT waste one breath or brain cell thinking about them anymore.
