@danialexis I am a 'tech guy' and questions like that drive me nuts, too. I have a big sign in my office that says, "OK, but what are you trying to do?" Every time someone brings some shiny new tech to me and asks what we can do with it I point at the sign. Then I explain that they need to define what they are trying to do and then I will tell them how we can do it (which may or may not be best accomplished with some shiny new tech). Goals can't be determined by tools.
